Description
Harry Semrow Driving Range is now hiring a Seasonal Part-Time Range Attendant. This position is responsible for collecting golf balls from the driving range, maintaining a clean and organized practice area. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and enjoys working outdoors.Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning.
- Replaces golf balls and clubs in racks for use by driving range patrons.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Ensure the clubhouse and practice range areas are kept orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans.
- Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for golf operations.
- Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- May perform small amount of mowing.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Strong guest service skills.
- Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.
- Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Ability to work well in fast paced environment.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be dependable.
Minimum Qualifications for the Range Attendant:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications:
- Possesses basic math skills.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
